Fri:  By Monday each student needs to know what they plan on doing for science fair.  They need to have their purpose by Monday.  The purpose needs to include why they chose the subject, what specifically they plan to learn, background information, and the importance of their project.  Each student needs to have a signature from parents so that parents know what their child is working on.  HW: Choose specific science fair topic and write the purpose.  Get parent signature.

I'd like to have a copy of the intro letter on file for each student for medical reasons.  If your child accidentally misplaced their copy, here is one you can download.
